Don’t lose the good stuff
Challenge
Whenever I’m browsing things online and find something I want to save, I usually end up sending the link to myself on WhatsApp.
It works, but it quickly becomes messy and I have no easy way to organize the links, remember why I saved them, or even when I saved them in the first place.

The app is pretty simple, a few categories, a plus button to add a new link and your photo up top to see your profile. The goal of the app is to be as easy as possible to save your links with less time.
I tried many different names for the app, but eventually landed on “Collected.”
It felt appropriate because the app is essentially a collection of links, organized across six categories that you can assign to each one. For the logo, I designed a custom variation of the typeface Mabry Pro.
I wanted something bright without overpowering the design, so I kept it to different shades of orange paired with neutral tones.

The minimal interface made me add little nuggets of delight, like the custom badges I designed for each award in the app. I often design custom icons for my projects, but since I wanted to keep things simple, I decided to create only three icons for the app, along with a little illustration for the empty state.
